FAQs

  • How long does the process take?

Plan on about a two week turn around time from the date we receive your approval of the sample to completion of the work. We may be able to meet your needs in less time than that. Let us know how soon you need it and we´ll let you know if we can help.

  • What is the normal digitizing fee?

See cost of digitizing (click here).

  • Do I have to pay the set-up fee once or is there a cost on each order?

Digitizing fees are a one time thing. As long as you use the same logo, there are no further fees for subsequent orders.

  • How much does the embroidery cost for logos?

Once we have a digital embroidery file created for your logo, all you pay is the garment or item price (click here to check our online catalog) and the price of the actual embroidery labor. The embroidery labor price depends on a number of things including; the type of item (shirt, hat, jacket, bag, etc.) and size of the design (the stitch count indicates how long it will take to sew it). There is a minimum charge of $5.00 that usually covers a simple design up to 5000 stitches but it is best if you call or Email us for a personalized quote. We would be happy to assist you.

  • Can you embroider on something that I supply?

We can, but we prefer not to, because of possible damage to the item. M-broidery can purchase almost any item you would want, and with our wholesale buying power and low markups, the cost is similar or less than you might find in a retail store. Based on our experience, we purchase the highest quality items best suited for embroidery.

  • Can I use the same logo for shirts and caps?

You can use the same logo for shirts and caps, with some exceptions. First, cap logos can usually be no taller than 2.25 inches, while shirt logos can be taller. Second, caps are curved and require special hooping attachments for the embroidery machine. Special digitzing is needed to accommodate this. If the logo was initially digitized for shirts and you want to put it on caps at a later date, we may need to edit the original file (usually for a $25 fee) to be able to embroider on caps.

  • Can you embroider the backs and sides of caps?

We can definitely embroider cap backs and sides.

  • Can a logo be resized from a left chest to a full back size (and vice versa)
Logos can be resized a little bit (usually about 10%) without incurring an additional charge. Changing from a left chest size to a full back would require a completely new digitizing of the logo. The costs to embroider the larger full back will also increase because of the higher stitch count.
  • Do you have a minimum order size?

We have no minimum order size, but apparel and embroidery both cost less in quantity.

  • How do I get my logo to you for a quote?

Send an Email to logowork@aol.com with your logo image attached. See cost of digitizing (click here). JPEG is our preference. Tell us what size you want your logo to be and what you want it embroidered on (caps, shirts, fleece etc.) Standard size for left chest is 3.75 x 2.00 inches. Cap logos can be no taller than 2.25 inches or wider than 4.5 inches. Small lettering is often a limiting factor in logos. We will advise you if we consider that any small lettering will be a problem.
